Michele Ross, LCSW

Clinical Director and Primary Therapist

Michele is the Clinical Director and a Primary Therapist at La Fuente Hollywood Treatment Center, a treatment center providing inpatient drug rehab in Los Angeles, CA that offers an integrated approach to overcoming drug and alcohol addiction through clinical therapy, 12-step involvement, nutrition, fitness and community support.

She has been working in the mental health field for 24 years. She has been a licensed psychotherapist for 17 years. She graduated both undergraduate psychology and then received a Masters in Social Work from the University of Southern California. She completed her internship and a fellowship in psychodynamic psychology at the Department of Psychiatry, Kaiser Permanente Hollywood. Michele was a member of the trauma team at Children’s Hospital Los Angeles as a trauma social worker and supervisor for 14 years.

Michele has had extensive experience in the field of mental health: early in her career she worked with the street youth of Hollywood and did trauma work with children and adult survivors of sexual abuse. She has worked in numerous in-patient settings at hospitals such as Children’s Hospital Los Angeles, St. John’s Hospital and Glendale Memorial.

In her private practice setting her specialties include working with men and women suffering from compulsive addictive behaviors (substance abuse,
compulsive spending, disordered eating and addictive relationships).

Along with a traditional psychology background, she has also been a student of various psycho-spiritual practices including Buddhism, Sacred Therapy, Transformational Work and Meditation.

She is an active member of the recovery community both professionally and personally.
